Recipes - Hamburger in Disguise

Hamburger In Disguise

What's the disguise? It's a hamburger shaped like a hot dog and served in a hot dog bun. Add cheese if you like.

1 lb.
ground beef
1/2 tsp.
seasoned salt
4 slices
American or Swiss cheese (optional)
4
hot dog buns, split
Pickle relish (optional)
Prepared mustard (optional)
  Catsup (optional)
  1. Preheat grill with medium heat, ash-covered coals or preheat the broiler. Mix together the meat and seasoned salt. Shape into 4 logs, 6 to 7 inches long. Place on the rack of an unheated broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat about 10 minutes or until done, turning once. If desired, top with the cheese slices.
  2. Serve on buns with relish, mustard, and catsup, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
